urineFREE Artificial Grass Cleaner is a bio-enzymatic urine odour remover, specifically formulated to treat synthetic grass. As a probiotic cleaner, it contains both enzymes AND live (but friendly) bacteria that break down the source of pet urine odours in your synthetic turf, intensified by heat and humidity.

Our Artificial Grass Cleaner permanently removes all urine odours, whether dog urine, cat urine, other pet urine and household accidents.

The 5 litre container is ready-to-use, and perfect for larger problem areas or frequent applications. Product can be applied using a garden pump spray or the urineFREE battery sprayer to avoid wrist fatigue for large areas (see our product pack). You may also prefer our concentrate formula.

Why does urineFREE work? Our probiotic cleaner is different than just any other enzymatic urine cleaner, as these only contain enzymes, not live bacteria. urineFREE contains both. Enzymes alone only really do half the job, whereas bacteria are smart enough to keep working until all uric acid crystals (the source of the smell) are gone.

Want to know the nitty gritty? Here’s a little science course for you! Urine consists of urea, urochrome and uric acid crystals. Most general cleaners only remove the water soluble components of urine (urea and urochrome) but leave behind the non-water soluble uric acid crystals that retain the strong urine odour. These crystals attach to surfaces and are very difficult to dislodge. Humidity, especially when combined with heat, will trigger the dormant crystals, bringing back the urine smell (hello summer).
